The quick answer.
Smartwatchphone C93 4G GPS Kids Smartwatch (Black) is a connected watch with case dimensions 40 × 48 mm case · 15 mm thick at €89.95. We recommend it for a family looking for 4G calls, GPS / Wi-Fi / LBS location and parent-managed communication tools on a child’s wrist.
Why it belongs on the shortlist.
The C93 is built around communication and location rather than simple timekeeping. Smartwatchphone lists 4G voice and video calls, GPS / Wi-Fi / LBS positioning, geofencing, location history, class mode and an SOS function. Parents manage settings through the companion app and can set approved contacts. That broad toolkit can be reassuring for families who want more ways to stay in touch during a child’s day.
Communication and location are the C93’s main strengths.
Smartwatchphone lists 4G voice and video calls, messaging, GPS, Wi-Fi and LBS positioning, geofencing and a 30-day location history. The SOS control is designed to contact a parent, while the companion app handles family settings. For parents who want several ways to stay connected, that is a substantial feature set in a child-sized device.
Parent controls come with a real privacy decision.
The seller lists an approved-contact firewall and class mode, which help shape when and with whom a child can communicate. It also lists Android apps including WhatsApp and a remote-listening function. Those options may suit some families, but they make the C93 less restricted than a watch limited to approved calls. We suggest discussing app access and remote listening before enabling them.
Budget for the SIM and mobile plan.
The C93 uses a Nano-SIM, and cellular calling and location depend on compatible mobile service. The seller says its companion app does not add a separate subscription, but a carrier plan remains a separate family expense. Confirm local 4G coverage, SIM compatibility and any plan cost before buying. Smartwatchphone estimates one to three days from the 700 mAh battery; actual runtime will depend on use and signal conditions.
Check the fit and keep it away from swimming.
Smartwatchphone lists a 40 × 48 mm case, 15 mm thickness and a 13.5–22 cm wrist range. At 53 g, it is a substantial connected watch compared with a simple analog children’s watch. The listing gives an IP65 rating and says not to wear it in a shower or while swimming; it should not be treated as a swim watch.

Before you choose
A compatible Nano-SIM and mobile plan are needed for cellular functions, so include carrier coverage and recurring service costs in the decision. The manufacturer lists Android 8.1, WhatsApp and remote listening, which makes this a less restricted device than a contact-only watch; families should review app access and listening controls together. Smartwatchphone lists IP65 and explicitly advises against showering or swimming with the watch. Its English product page showed €89.95 EUR, and local currency or availability may differ by region.
Who it suits.
A family looking for 4G calls, GPS / Wi-Fi / LBS location and parent-managed communication tools on a child’s wrist.
When to choose something else.
Choose a simpler contact-only watch if you want fewer apps and privacy controls to manage, or a swim-ready device if water use is important.
Warranty, returns and ownership.
Smartwatchphone lists a one-year warranty and a 14-day return period for complete items in perfect condition. Review the current regional terms before ordering. The seller says there is no separate app subscription; a compatible mobile plan is still required for cellular service.
